Blog author standing in front of his 1986 MLB debut Bo Jackson game used home jersey, which was on loan during the 2011 season to an exhibit in the Kansas City Royals Hall of Fame Museum honoring the 25th anniversary of Bo's call up to the big leagues. This is the jersey Bo Jackson wore to hit his 1st home run (Sep. 14, 1986 off Seattle's Mike Moore), a monster 475 foot blast (495 feet if measured landing at ground level) which remains the longest HR ever hit at Kauffman Stadium (the ball went three-quarters of the way up the outfield embankment and hit the ground so hard it stuck into the sod)! This jersey was easy to photomatch as it's missing the underline script which was supposed to extend under the "Ro" on the left hand side of the jersey. Great provenance & letter of authenticity as well, formerly George Brett collection!
