Nike's "Bo Knows" campaign remains the gold standard in sports
marketing, to which all others are compared. In a moment of
serendipity, their very 1st commercial launched in the commercial break
after Bo launched his legendary 448 ft. home run in the 1989 All Star
Game (with President Reagan calling the game in the booth)! Bo would go
on to win the '89 All Star Game MVP, and become a pop culture and
marketing icon propelling Nike to new heights. Let's take a stroll down
memory lane to a time in which Bo was king of the sporting world. And I
do mean ALL sports!
